REGULATORY TECHNICAL STANDARDS

The RTS are provided by the European Banking Authority (<a href="/glossarycollection/european-banking-authority" style="color:#48277C;" target="_blank" title="European Banking Authority">EBA</a>) at the request of the European Commission and provides the technical regulations for the implementation of Strong Customer Authentication (<a href="/glossarycollection/strong-customer-authentication" style="color:#48277C;" target="_blank" title="Strong Customer Authentication">SCA</a>) and common and secure open standards of communication as part of the Second Payment Services Directive (<a href="/glossarycollection/the-second-payment-services-directive" style="color:#48277C;" target="_blank" title="The Second Payment Services Directive">PSD2</a>).
