How does the European Banking Authority (EBA) define a Security Risk when providing payment services?

According to the European Banking Authority (<a href="/glossarycollection/european-banking-authority" style="color:#48277C;" target="_blank" title="European Banking Authority"><u>EBA</u></a>), a security risk is any risk resulting from inadequate or failed internal processes or external events that have, or may have, an adverse impact on the availability, integrity, confidentiality of information and communication technology (ICT) systems and/or information used for the provision of payment services. This includes risk from cyber-attacks or inadequate physical security.
