OPEN BANKING PARTICIPANTS AND ROLES

Once a Payment Service Provider (<a href="/glossarycollection/payment-service-provider" style="color:#48277C;" target="_blank" title="Payment Service Provider"><u>PSP</u></a>) is registered or authorised with their National Competent Authority (<a href="/glossarycollection/national-competent-authority" style="color:#48277C;" target="_blank" title="National Competent Authority"><u>NCA</u></a>) to provide a particular Access to Accounts (<a href="/glossarycollection/access-to-accounts" style="color:#48277C;" target="_blank" title="Access to Accounts"><u>XS2A</u></a>) service online they will perform one of the following payment roles:<br/><br/>

- Payment Initiation;<br/><br/>

- Account Information;<br/><br/>

- Card Based Payment Instruments Issuing;<br/><br/>

- Account Servicing.
