How much might I save in payment transaction fees by offering an Open Banking facilitated payment option at the point of sale?
There are a number of factors that affect the card transaction fees paid by a retailer but a saving of at least 0.5% per transaction could reasonably be expected upon introduction of an Open Banking-enabled payment option.

So, if you are an SME paying an average of 1.5% in payment fees and turning over say £20m in sales per annum, the addition of an Open Banking-enabled payment option which subsequently accounts for 25% of your yearly sales is an easy win saving to your business of around £25,000 p.a
