How can breakpoint analysis help with identifying risk?

By capturing risks which relate to a given business process and identifying the point at which those risks are exposed we can identify 'breakpoints' in the processes. These, int urn, allow us to design Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) that allow us to quantify so-called 'residual risk exposure'. This allows for better insight into what the key issues are. It also provides the evidence base to inform and guide the remediation process.
